In addition to its gateway function, the STCE-SG IoT & LoRa Module extends its long-range (LR) transmitter capability and facilitates the secure collection, reception, and transmission of data from distributed end nodes, ensuring data confidentiality and integrity, critical aspects in the industrial landscape.

With its integrated network server and applications, the STCE-SG IoT & LoRa Module offers effective Data Aggregation and Edge IoT Computing*, hosting third-party container software for customized application functionality for localized storage and processing of consolidated data from multiple end nodes. This integration helps reduce latency and minimize the amount of data transmitted to the cloud.

Built to meet Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) requirements, the STCE-SG IoT & LoRa module enables efficient long-range wireless communication, data collection and processing from low-power sensors, and cost-effective operation for a variety of industrial applications, making it an ideal solution for rural and other sparsely populated areas, saving on CAPEX and OPEX.

The STCE-SG IoT & LoRa module features DIN-rail mounting, can operate over a wide temperature range (-25°C to +65°C) without active fans, and enables secure data processing at humidity levels of 5% to 95%.
